Day 11 – Don’t let the coconut fall on your head

In the evening, we had Crissy, a woman from the Northern Group island of Manihiki, talk to us about traditional names and uses of the coconut – the tree of life. She was very interesting. She also told us about surviving a tsunami on Manihiki in the 1990s.
